A highly-curious, deeply feeling spiritual seeker, mother, sound bath and reiki guide, and symbolic hypnotherapist.
I love the practice of morning pages. Putting pen to paper and keeping the ink flowing till you reach the end of 3 pages. This concept is introduced in the book The Artist Way, which I own but have not read. That hasn’t stopped me from engaging in the practice. This practice is where I have fallen in love with writing.
Initially, it isn’t easy to keep writing, especially when you’ve run out of planned things to say. Then, you are left with unplanned organic thoughts. The more proficient you become at letting thoughts flow, the more truth you uncover about yourself. The agenda of perception is lifted. It is a place of faithful presence.
It reveals to me how deep I’m willing to travel inward. I like to think, so it’s nice to let my mind wonder into the unrestricted spaces of all the weird, crazy, dark, funny, childish parts of myself.
